About Dr. Liz
Dr. Liz is a board-certified pediatric dentist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, specializing in dental care for children, adolescents, and individuals with special health care needs. She is passionate about creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient while helping families build a foundation for lifelong oral health.
Dr. Liz earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Western Illinois University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time there, she was a Division I basketball player and served as co-captain her senior year. She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, followed by a two-year pediatric dental residency at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Liz is experienced in a full range of behavior guidance and sedation techniques, including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral conscious sedation, and treatment under general anesthesia, allowing her to safely and effectively care for patients with a wide variety of needs.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Arizona Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Liz enjoys hiking, golfing, spending time with her dog Teddy, watching sports, and being with friends and family.
