With a strong Arizona connection, Dr. Sheppard embarked on his dental career after attending several community colleges. His educational journey led him to Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he completed his undergraduate degree. Driven by a desire to make a difference, he continued his dental education at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. During his four-year tenure, he honed his dental skills and discovered his true calling: pediatric dentistry.
Championing Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Sheppard's dedication to pediatric dentistry took him to Indiana University for his specialized residency and post-graduate program. Here, he immersed himself in the world of cutting-edge dental care, including training at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. His two-year residency equipped him to provide comprehensive care to children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs.
A Return to Arizona, a Commitment to Anthem
After completing his residency, Dr. Sheppard returned to Arizona with a mission to make a difference in his community. He chose Anthem as his home and purchased his dental practice in 2009, marking the beginning of his journey as a leading pediatric dentist in the region. Dr. Sheppard's love for his community and passion for pediatric dental care have remained unwavering.

As a devoted husband and a proud father of five, Dr. Sheppard brings a unique perspective to his role as a pediatric dentist.
